Warner Detroit: WJR’s Paul W. Smith Talks with Linda Paullin-Hebden

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP Executive Partner Linda Paullin-Hebden was live on-air today with WJR's morning host, Paul W. Smith, to discuss the firm's new Detroit office.

Paul W. kicked off the nearly nine-minute interview saying, "I would have thought you had an office in Detroit anyway because you have been so much a part of the community for so long."

Paullin-Hebden discussed Warner's growth in Southeast Michigan, beginning nearly 25 years ago with a small office and culminating in the establishment of its first Detroit address at 2715 Woodward Ave. in The District Detroit.

"We've grown through the years by hiring a lot of lateral attorneys, and we have a lot of great clients who have supported us," Paullin-Hebden said. "Our younger attorneys love that we're in Detroit. It really helped us with recruiting."

Paullin-Hebden also discussed the impact the pandemic has had on the firm's plans: "The way people meet and get together was changing. We're not having as many face-to-face meetings, but we felt we still needed a way we could deepen our relationships with our clients. That's what led us to the space in The District Detroit near to all the entertainment venues."

Paul W. asked Paullin-Hebden if the firm is hiring. "We're always looking for great, talented attorneys who want to join a firm that has a collegial culture like ours," she said.
