“The Path to Amplifying Allyship” is part of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion 2024 speaker series and seeks to encourage, support and educate on the business case for a culture of inclusion. The Path event will discuss how allies can play pivotal roles in shaping diverse and inclusive organizational cultures. But how does one become an ally for others in our day-to-day interactions and not let fear of doing or saying the wrong thing paralyze our support or actions?
Mandice McAllister, DEI manager at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, will help answer that question at the Oct. 2 webinar. She and her co-presenters will explore what it means to be an ally in your workplace and help participants create or round out a roadmap for fostering collaboration, understanding and respect in the workplace whether you’re a seasoned advocate or just starting your allyship journey.
