The Michigan Supreme Court has appointed the Honorable Christopher M. Murray as the new Chief Judge for the Court of Appeals. Judge Murray has served on the Court of Appeals since 2002, and has been serving as Chief Judge Pro Tem pending the retirement of the Honorable Michael J. Talbot's retirement this month. Chief Judge Murray will complete the current two year term, which expires December 31, 2019.
