Many companies are reevaluating their workplaces strategies. This includes having employees remain remote long after the pandemic ends. Although there are many benefits to having some of your employees work remotely, there are important employment considerations to be mindful of. Those considerations may include state wage and leave issues, workers’ compensation and unemployment insurance, tax withholding consequences and other considerations – especially if an employee works in another state.
