Raquel Sportel, an associate with the law firm Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been named to the West Michigan Asian American Association board.
The West Michigan Asian American Association is a nonprofit that works to strengthen the Asian American community by bringing together leaders and organizations in West Michigan. The organization is dedicated to providing community health navigation, scholarship programs and networking opportunities to advance healthcare, education and civic engagement. Founded in 2011 through the merger of the Asian Health Outreach Foundation and the Asian Professional Organization, WMAAA combines a legacy of health advocacy and professional development.
Sportel concentrates her practice on trusts and estates, working with families and individuals to create estate plans, organize and structure assets and minimize tax burdens.
