In early December, the Department of Labor issued a news release entitled “Department of Labor Finds Poultry Processor Illegally Endangered Children in Dangerous Jobs, Robbed Workers of Wages and Retaliated by Firing Workers.” This release highlights the DOL’s crackdown on a Los Angeles poultry processing plant that was found guilty of violating child labor laws. Even if your business is unrelated to the poultry or meat processing industry, there are still valuable lessons to be learned. Automotive and manufacturing employers may benefit from today’s vlog as well.
