National Family Law Trial Institute is the preeminent intensive litigation skills course dedicated exclusively to family law in the U.S. Warner partner Ric Roane will make his fourth appearance on the nationally renowned faculty that includes top family law litigators, jurists and forensic experts from across the country for the week-long institute.

NFLTI convenes a faculty of preeminent attorneys who are dedicated to giving back by training younger lawyers to be the best they can be in the courtroom. The program’s goal is to develop better trial lawyers.

A frequent lecturer and author on family law topics throughout Michigan, across the U.S. and internationally, Roane described his role on the NFLTI faculty as follows: “I am both honored and excited to work alongside this outstanding team of family law attorneys, judges and financial professionals from across the nation as we help emerging family law attorneys develop the advanced trial advocacy skills essential for presenting cases at the highest level. Of all the continuing legal education programs I participate in throughout the year, this one remains my favorite.”

NFLTI, which became commonly known as the Houston Family Law Trial Institute, has moved to Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth. The program runs from May 17–24.
