The U.S. military continues investing in next generation ground combat vehicles to modernize defense systems amid ongoing supply chain challenges. The 5th Annual Military Vehicle Systems Summit brings together senior leaders from the military, industry and academia to discuss innovations shaping future ground systems. As rapid modernization and prototyping remain priorities, the military must leverage commercial innovation to enhance the lethality, mobility and survivability of its platforms.
Maj. Gen. Mike Stone (Ret.), a partner at Warner and chair of the firm’s Aerospace and Defense Industry Group, will participate in the panel discussion, “Balancing the Modernization of Military Ground Combat Systems with Supply Chain Vulnerabilities,” which will explore Michigan’s position at the nexus of technology, manufacturing and strategy.
The discussion will focus on how supply chain businesses – particularly Michigan manufacturers – can position themselves for growth in this critical sector by understanding and preparing for military needs and requirements. Panelists will also highlight the importance of leveraging industry innovation in areas such as advanced battery technology to support ground vehicle modernization.
