Lexi M. Woods, an associate in the Grand Rapids office of Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been elected to the board of Inner City Christian Federation.
Woods will serve a three-year term beginning in January 2021 for the Grand Rapids-based nonprofit housing corporation, which is focused on the belief that all people deserve safe, clean and affordable housing. ICCF strives to provide equitable opportunities through affordable home rentals and ownership in thriving neighborhoods.
Woods concentrates her practice in business and corporate services, real estate and cybersecurity matters. Active professionally, Woods serves on the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Program Committee and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
Woods completed an externship at Thor Industries in Elkhart, Indiana. She also served as a judicial extern for the Hon. James E. Snyder of Illinois Circuit Court of Cook County and as a summer fellow for the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations in Washington D.C.
Woods received her law degree cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where she was executive managing editor of the Journal of International & Comparative Law. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration magna cum laude from Aquinas College.
