Kurt Brauer, a partner at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, will moderate the panel “Economic Development & Regional Incentives.” The discussion will explore factors influencing site selection, strategies companies are using to engage employees and ways to overcome obstacles to advance the Southeast Michigan industrial real estate sector.
Topics include:
- 2025 incentives: federal, state and city programs for industrial/EV infrastructure upgrades and their impact on site selection.
- Partnerships between developers, government and educational institutions.
- Detroit’s labor pool skills, demographics and workforce programs.
- Regulatory and zoning changes and streamlining the development process.
At Warner, Brauer counsels clients on economic development, environmental compliance and regulatory matters, with an emphasis on brownfield redevelopment and business expansion incentive packages. He also assists clients in resolving complex real estate issues. He has worked on complex real estate and incentive projects across Michigan.
