Jay Yelton to Present at ACEDS Detroit eDiscovery Symposium

B. Jay Yelton III, a partner with the law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, will be a featured presenter at the Association of eDiscovery Specialists second annual Detroit eDiscovery Symposium on Thursday, Sept. 21.

The half-day program features discussion and best practices on information governance and big data matters including alternative uses for data analytics, cost shifting and proportionality, predictive compliance and electronically stored information protocol. Federal Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Stafford will offer the session's keynote address.

For organizations that collect and store data, the cost and risk implications of eDiscovery continue to escalate at breakneck speeds. Yelton, co-chair of the Warner Data Solutions practice group and its eDiscovery team, will discuss electronically stored information protocol for the proper handling of the tasks associated with preservation, collection, processing, review and production of data in response to litigation and investigations.

Event registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Book Cadillac Hotel, 1114 Washington Blvd., Detroit, and the program concludes after a networking lunch.

Cost to attend is $25 for ACEDS members and $50 for non-members. For more information and registration details, visit https://www.aceds.org/group/Detroit. Participants are eligible for continuing education credits.
