Form I-9 Gets a Makeover – Use Current Version Until January

Employers must complete Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) for all newly hired employees to verify their identity and authorization to work in the United States. A new Form I-9 will be published by the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) by November 22, 2016. Employers may continue to use the current Form I-9 (revision date of 03/08/2013 N) until January 21, 2017. After January 21, 2017, the new form must be used. You can find information on the USCIS website at I-9 Central
