The Federal Bar Association Eastern District of Michigan’s IP Committee is presenting “It Came from Online,” a complimentary lunch and learn program on how to respond to ransomware, infringement, defamation and other hot-button issues encountered on the internet.
Patrick Corbett from the Association of the U.S. Army will share his knowledge and experience taking down the seemingly untouchable ransomware crooks. He will share step-by-step instructions for guiding clients through these panic-inducing online attacks.
Warner Norcross + Judd Partner Brian Wassom will review other online headaches that businesses often confront, including copyright and trademark infringement, publicity rights issues, defamation and privacy concerns. Wassom will offer tools and strategies for tackling these issues when and if they arrive.
Guests are invited to attend the luncheon presentation at Warner’s Detroit office, located at 2715 Woodward Ave. in Detroit.
