Aaron J. Beresh has joined Warner Norcross + Judd LLP as a partner and will practice in the firm’s Detroit office.

<a href="https://www.wnj.com/people/aaron-j-beresh/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Beresh</a> is an experienced attorney who focuses on both health law and corporate and transactional matters. In health law, he advises physician groups, health systems, private equity investors and health care operators on corporate transactions and operational arrangements across a wide range of health care sectors. He also represents management organizations in structuring and negotiating management services arrangements. In addition, Beresh counsels clients on regulatory compliance, with a focus on federal and state fraud and abuse laws, including the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute, as well as HIPAA, data privacy and related considerations.

Beresh also handles a broad range of corporate and transactional matters. He has guided clients through mergers and acquisitions, negotiated and documented complex agreements and advised companies on the contractual and operational issues that arise in day-to-day business operations. He frequently serves as outside counsel to closely held and growth-oriented businesses, advising on operational issues, governance, real estate matters and general business strategy.

Beresh joins Warner from Howard &amp; Howard Attorneys PLLC in Detroit, where he was a partner advising businesses on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters. Earlier in his career, he worked at The Health Law Partners P.C., Rickard &amp; Associates P.C., and was a federal judicial extern at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan for the Hon. Bernard A. Friedman.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and his law degree magna cum laude from Michigan State College of Law. He has been named a Michigan Leading Lawyer, Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star, DBusiness Top Lawyer, and Best Lawyers®: One to Watch. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan.
