Elaine M. Taylor, business development executive with the law firm Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been elected to the board of directors of Women in Defense where she will serve as the director of sponsorships.
An affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association, Women In Defense engages, cultivates and supports the advancement and recognition of women in all aspects of national security. WID's members represent defense organizations of every size from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, government agencies, private industry, academia, think tanks, associations and professional services, who come together to strengthen the national security industry by inspiring women, cultivating leadership and creating career development opportunities.
A results-driven strategist, Taylor relies on her more than 20 years of professional services experience to identify new business opportunities and develop client growth strategies across Warner's eight-office footprint in Michigan. She is particularly active in Michigan's industrial and technology sector, leading firm development activities in automotive, aerospace, defense and other manufacturing businesses.
In addition to her WID board position, Taylor is an active member of the Michigan Aerospace Manufacturing Association, National Defense Industrial Association, Association of the United States Army, Air Force Association, Original Equipment Suppliers Association, MICHauto and Inforum. She works from the firm's Southeast Michigan offices in Macomb County and Southfield.
