David J. Klippert Elected to Michigan Chamber of Commerce Board

David J. Klippert, a partner at the law firm Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, has been elected to the Michigan Chamber of Commerce board of directors.

Klippert will serve a two-year term, on the board, which is Michigan’s leading statewide business advocacy organization. It serves 6,800 member employers, trade associations and local chambers of commerce in 83 counties of the state. Since its founding in 1959, the Michigan Chamber has worked to promote favorable conditions for job creation and business growth in Michigan.

Klippert concentrates his practice in business law with an emphasis on commercial transactions. He represents numerous family and closely held businesses, manufacturing companies and professional services firms, including accounting and dental practices.  He also focuses on estate planning and trust and estate administration.
 
In addition to his new board position, Klippert also serves on the board of Wenonah Park Properties, Inc., which is a DoubleTree Hotel property in Bay City. He is past president of the Northeastern Michigan Estate Planning Council.  He is a graduate of Leadership Saginaw and active in the Stevens Center for Family Business Planning at Saginaw Valley State University.
