The Arthur Neef Law Library will present “AI Under the Hood: What Generative AI Does Well, What It Does Not, and Why,” a panel discussion examining artificial intelligence as both a general technology and a specialized legal tool.
The panel will move beyond the broad question of whether AI is “good or bad” to help participants understand why these tools behave as they do, where risks arise and how legal professionals can use them with better judgment and appropriate caution.
Warner attorney Brian Wassom will join Jennifer Crane, assistant professor at Wayne State University Law School; Sina Fakhraee, Ph.D., principal AI/ML cloud solution architect at Microsoft; Gabriella Mickel, assistant professor at Wayne State University Law School; and Zahra Takhshid, associate professor at Wayne State University Law School.
Lesliediana Jones, director of the Arthur Neef Law Library, will moderate the discussion.
