From a young age, I was independent, curious and driven to lead — traits that served me well as the oldest of four children and ultimately shaped the kind of attorney I’ve become. I grew up in a home where books lined the shelves and thoughtful conversations were part of daily life. I always envisioned myself in the courtroom — not just practicing law but making a meaningful impact. Family law drew me in because it’s deeply personal and people focused. I get to listen to clients, understand their unique stories and guide them through difficult transitions. It’s not just about legal solutions — it’s about human connection, advocacy and helping people find a way forward. That’s the work that motivates me every day.

Emma Green focuses her practice on family law, guiding clients through matters involving divorce, custody, paternity, child support, stepparent adoption, prenuptial agreements and personal protection orders. She counsels clients through every stage of a case, strategically drafting persuasive briefs, motions and mediation statements. When necessary, Emma serves as a strong advocate by arguing motions, hearings and trials in court. Emma regularly consults with outside experts to build strong, well-supported cases and provides strategic support to partners in the firm’s family law group to help achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Emma earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish, <em>magna cum laude</em>, from Saint Mary’s College in Indiana and a law degree from Case Western Reserve University. She was honored with the CALI Award for Excellence for her achievements in law studies, was on the Dean’s List and participated in the VIS International Arbitration Moot Court. Fluent in Spanish, Emma also earned a Master of Laws degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain.
