Davis J. Crocker
- Associate
I am privileged to help clients put their wishes in place and ease the burden their families and friends may face in the event of incapacity or death. It is a responsibility I do not take lightly, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve clients and their families in such a meaningful way.
Davis focuses his practice on estate planning and related matters. He counsels individuals and families on wealth preservation and asset-transfer objectives, and drafts trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, patient advocate designations and related planning documents. Davis is a clear, responsive communicator who works to understand each client’s circumstances and develop practical, individualized solutions.
Before joining Warner, Davis was an estate planning attorney at Shea Law, PLLC. His experience includes research involving Michigan probate, trust and estate law; client counseling; and collaboration with clients and other professionals to implement comprehensive estate plans. Earlier in his career, he supported business law, transactional and general legal matters as a law clerk.
Davis earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law. While in law school, he served as a staff editor for the Michigan State Law Review and was a member of the Michigan Leadership Initiative. Davis is admitted to practice in Michigan.
