Updating Documentation for Health and Welfare Benefit Programs

We assisted a client to create updated documentation for its active employee health and welfare benefit programs which cover several thousand employees in a variety of affiliates. In particular, we reviewed for legal compliance, clarity and accuracy nearly 40 new benefit certificates and policies for active and retiree medical; active and retiree dental; and life, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) and disability issued by the vendor.
