Homayune Ghaussi has developed a diverse litigation practice with extensive experience in two particular industries. He represents and counsels auto suppliers on a daily basis in warranty, recall and supply chain disputes.  He also represents a major financial institution in challenges filed after foreclosure actions. Homayune understands that each client and each case has its own definition of success, so he works with his clients to define that particular success and then develops and executes a strategy to achieve the client’s specific goals. He has successfully litigated numerous matters, including trials and appeals, handling his first solo jury trial through verdict when he was only in his second year of practice.

  • Defended major regional bank in several suits filed to challenge prior foreclosures, obtaining summary dismissal or very favorable settlements in each case
  • Defended technology design company against claims of trade secret misappropriation pertaining to automotive universal garage door opener technology
  • Obtained summary disposition for an employer in a race discrimination claim based on a limitations clause in an employment contract; affirmed on appeal by the Michigan Court of Appeals
