Cannabis Law Section Chairman Thomas Lavigne invited guests to Spring Training 2023 for a robust discussion on legal issues facing Michigan’s cannabis industry. The full day event covered a range of topics including consumer protection in the cannabis market, state court receiverships, ownership disputes, capitalization and consolidation trends, municipal impacts, taxes and tourism and several other interesting matters.
Warner Norcross + Judd LLP attorneys Tom Amon and Matt Sierawski led a session on testing issues and consumer protection. Warner’s Cannabis Industry Group includes 20+ attorneys who are collectively experienced in virtually every legal discipline required to help industry participants grow and succeed.
