In today’s “Warner Employment News From the Law Shanty,” Steve discusses a resurgence in the COVID-19 pandemic and where we are with face masks. The CDC recently issued “recommendations” for individuals to wear face masks in public settings. In July, only 10 counties in Michigan were within the substantial or high transmission rate category. Today, 61 counties fall into that category and the numbers continue to rise. Steve highlights key recommendations from the latest MDHHS publication on masks which reiterates the CDC’s guidance to provide employers and business owners a foundation from which to make decisions.
