InfoCon 2023 brings together information governance industry leaders and experts, presenting a unique networking platform to share experiences, exchange ideas and build valuable partnerships. The three-day conference is considered a must-attend for anyone looking to leverage cutting-edge information governance strategies in today's digital age.

New to InfoCon 2023 is an exciting “legal track” where industry leaders will discuss significant legal issues ranging from data privacy and protection to the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

Madelaine Lane, partner at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP, and Jeffrey Sharer, founder and CEO of both lexshift and Sharer Law, will jointly present “To hold or not to hold, that is the question” to explore current legal authority, best practices and practical tips for proportionally and defensibly scoping preservation decisions and legal holds. The presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 1:45 p.m.

At Warner, Madelaine is co-chair of the firm’s Data Analytics and eDiscovery Practice Group and co-directs the firm’s eDiscovery Center. She is also past co-chair of Warner’s White Collar Criminal Defense Practice Group. She has led some of the state’s largest criminal and civil discovery matters by leveraging the latest technology and tools to locate and parse through responsive documents efficiently.

InfoCon begins Monday, Oct. 9 with registration and breakfast at Huntington Place in Detroit. In addition to hearing from industry-leading speakers, InfoCon guests will have opportunities to network with peers from across the country and around the globe.
