Timothy Hillegonds has a broad general practice experience in most areas of the law. His concentration is in providing services to banks and financial institutions and other commercial businesses. These services include planning commercial transactions, documenting the transactions, and if necessary enforcing the rights of the client. Enforcement includes foreclosures and court and bankruptcy proceedings. He represents a number of closely held businesses and real estate brokers, and routinely forms business ventures and reviews and prepares a variety of contracts for the sale of real estate and personal property, employment, and business relationships. He has represented clients in both large and small merger, reorganization and sale and acquisition transactions.

- Currently represents a number of financial institutions in his area of expertise, including Fifth Third Bank, Firstbank-Lakeview, AgriBank, FCB, GreenStone Farm Credit Services and Chemical Bank.
