Commercial marijuana activity has existed for decades – it just so happened to be illegal. Michigan has long been working to transform this industry into something that is lawful, regulated, licensed and taxed, and we now have a full complement of laws that make this possible. But it is much more complicated than simply flipping a switch. That’s where I come in.

Bob Hendricks brings almost four decades of commercial law experience to a broad range of business types and owners that seek entity formation, real estate, tax planning, contracting and other assistance. Since 2013, he has also been cultivating both a state-level leadership role and a prominent practice in the area of legal cannabis commerce, which now comprises the majority of his practice.

“It is both intellectually invigorating and personally rewarding to help shape an industry that has never existed before in a legal framework, in a way that benefits the most people and provides as many opportunities for growth as possible.”
