Biography

Doug Dozeman protects the interests of businesses and individuals involved in complex civil litigation. He prosecutes and defends high-stakes cases concerning patent infringement, trade secret and idea misappropriation, contract and corporate disputes, condemnation actions and many other areas. Doug is attentive to his clients’ objectives and is mindful of the expense and disruptive nature of civil litigation. He’s a problem solver and works hard to minimize risks and losses while helping his clients move towards successful resolutions. “No one likes being involved in litigation. My job is to guide people through a process they often aren’t familiar with, determine what they need and figure out how to get there.” Doug says, “What makes us good at what we do is that we take on every case as our own. We make it personal.” Doug is also Warner Norcross & Judd’s Managing Partner and sets the strategic direction for the firm across eight offices in Michigan.
