Learn More About Supreme Court's Health Care Ruling

As you likely have heard, today the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of almost all of the Affordable Care Act.

One change comes in response to states’ challenges. The Court has limited Congress’s right to force states to expand the Medicaid program beyond what they can afford. If Congress does not supply adequate funding for expanding Medicaid programs, states cannot be penalized for declining to expand the programs.

Warner health law and employee benefits experts will be conducting a complimentary webinar on July 11 to discuss the ruling and how businesses should proceed under the law. Register or learn more about the webinar here.

A brief analysis of the changes, as they pertain to employers, is available here. Health care providers can click here to see an analysis of the changes that may affect them.
