Biography

Jeff Segal is a health care and tax attorney who counsels organizations and physicians through a myriad of regulatory and liability matters. Providing sound guidance and representation regarding fraud and abuse issues involving the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Physician Self-Referral Law (Stark Law) is a central component of his practice. Jeff facilitates licensing investigations for providers and handles all aspects of health care and contractual negotiations involving physicians, third-party payors, business associates and health care organizations. Additionally, Jeff has experience with facility and provider licensing. Nonprofit health care organizations rely on his intricate tax knowledge in forming entities, maintaining compliance and benefitting from their exemption status with the IRS. With a positive and contagious attitude, Jeff eagerly resolves complex health care and tax issues and is a responsive and reliable partner to clients.
