Laura Jeltema counsels high net worth individuals, families and family offices on trust and estate administration and planning, income, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, and wealth preservation. Designing creative solutions for multi-generational families and limiting their risk and tax exposure is the foundation of Laura’s practice. In addition, Laura strategically guides owners of closely held businesses through pre-transaction planning, wealth preservation and business succession planning. Private foundations also rely on Laura’s knowledge and experience with respect to governance, compliance and transactional matters. She’s a problem solver and enjoys making complex laws more comprehensible for clients. Her organized and responsive nature is an asset to the individuals, businesses and families she assists. Prior to joining Warner, Laura practiced for over eleven years at a large top ranked Washington, DC based law firm.
