Biography

Jan is always willing to accept a new challenge. She came to the firm skilled in real estate and finance, and has been actively involved in foreclosure and bankruptcy matters. Also, Jan has acquired computer skills that provide drafting benefits for the Finance Practice Group and recently has taken on projects with the Criminal Law Practice Group.

  • Prepares foreclosure documents and process foreclosures to completion
  • Develops and maintains foreclosure forms on the HOTDOCS software system to streamline foreclosures

  • Fully knowledgeable in reading and analyzing legal descriptions, title requirements, exceptions, final policies and endorsements


Criminal Law

  • Develops and maintains the HOTDOCS software program for the Finance Practice Group loan documents
  • Drafts documents in all facets of tax-exempt bond and taxable note transactions such as trust indentures, loan agreements, bond/note purchase agreements, letters of credit, reimbursement agreements, official statements/offering circulars, remarking agreements, pledge and security agreements, closing certificates and supplemental documents
  • Coordinates and handles real estate and secured transaction issues in financing transactions
