Biography

Rozanne Giunta regularly represents secured creditors, debtors, creditors' committees and trustees in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 proceedings, loan workouts, defense of preference claims, collection suits, foreclosure actions and related matters. Prior to formal filings, she will work with businesses to structure transactions designed to anticipate bankruptcy problems. Rozanne counsels corporations of all sizes in various industries including automotive suppliers, automobile dealerships, farms and related businesses, hospitals and manufacturers. In addition, she represents numerous banks and secured lenders in negotiating and documenting secured transactions and in bankruptcy proceedings.
 
Rozanne is a Fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers of Michigan. She was the chair of the Debtor and Creditors’ Rights Committee of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and the Rules Committee for the Eastern District of Michigan. She also serves on the mediation panel for the Eastern District of Michigan and has successfully mediated numerous matters relating to bankruptcy and commercial law issues. She currently serves as a board member for the YWCA Board Governance Committee, the Finance Council and the Long Term Financial Planning Committee for the Saginaw Diocese.
