Warner's Dubault cautions that employers face greater scrutiny, rule enforcement

Warner Norcross labor attorney Rob Dubault recently shared an overview of changes to state and federal labor laws with MiBiz. He told the publication that a combination of new rules and greater scrutiny mean that employers need to stay on top of changes from the DOL, EEOC, NLRB and other agencies. “(Companies need to) make sure policies are up-to-date and that supervisors and managers understand and comply with the policies. We consistently emphasize that to our clients,” Dubault told MiBiz. “It’s a first step in avoiding a lot of these lawsuits and investigations.” To read the whole story, http://www.mibiz.com/news/human-resources/18657-era-of-more-enforcement-and-scrutiny.html.
