Warner Represents BPV Environmental in Its Sale to Pestell Group

Wind Point Partners, through its portfolio company, Pestell Group, has acquired BPV Environmental. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Byron Center, Michigan, BPV is a leading manufacturer of alternative, paper-based animal litter, small animal bedding, and lawn and garden products.

 
Combining Pestell and BPV will provide the opportunity to leverage both companies’ products, brand portfolios and distribution network within the U.S. and Canada.
 
Warner acted as legal counsel to BPV Environmental. The transaction team was led by Greg Schmidt and Mike Jones and the team consisted of: Angelyn Justian (corporate); Greg Bondarenko (intellectual property); Scott Hubbard (environmental); Jon Kok (labor and employment); Stephen Kretschman (tax); and Stephanie Grant (employee benefits).
