The COVID-19 pandemic has continued to rattle the global economy and we’re seeing its effects in Michigan with an increase in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy filings. With these changes in federal bankruptcy law, more small businesses will become eligible to file, the process will be streamlined and it will become easier for owners to retain equity.
