Warner Partner Jeffrey Ott Provides Insight into Bank M&A during Pandemic

MiBiz featured an article on the COVID-19 pandemic’s effects on bank mergers and acquisitions titled “Pandemic-fueled uncertainty cools outlook for bank M&A.” This article discusses the decrease in forecasted mergers and acquisitions among banks due to the potential financial fallout from the pandemic. Among the three attorneys interviewed for this article, Warner partner Jeffrey Ott provided insight into the lending environment and concerns about credit quality, making it difficult to predict M&A for 2021.

Ott has represented businesses and financial institutions for over 30 years on M&A, compliance and securities laws, and general corporate and business matters. He has successfully completed well over 100 M&A transactions – including public company transactions and tender offers. Learn more about his practice here.
