Warner Norcross Offers Trusts & Estates Planning Seminar

The law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP will offer an evening seminar on current estate planning tax laws and estate planning pitfalls.

The seminar on "The Top 10 Reasons You Need an Estate Plan" will be held on Thursday, May 19 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Blue & Gold Room at Muskegon Community College. Warner Norcross Trusts & Estates attorneys Karen Kayes and David Waterstradt will lead the discussion, which will focus on common situations that require thoughtful estate planning, including:

  • Second marriages
  • Business transition issues
  • Asset protection
  • Long-term care

Kayes provides a full range of estate and tax planning services for individuals and families. She works with clients to design, implement and administer estate plans to facilitate transfer of decision making during disability and an efficient transfer of wealth at death. She regularly works with clients in Michigan and Florida.

Waterstradt focuses his practice in estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, elder law and Medicaid planning. He helps individuals and families plan for the personal, financial, tax and legal consequences of a death or disability, including passing wealth to successive generations in the most tax-efficient manner.
