Warner Norcross Names Karen J. VanderWerff as Partner

Karen J. VanderWerff has been named as a partner in the Firm.

VanderWerff concentrates her practice in labor and employment, occupational safety and health law.  A forensic scientist by training, she spent seven years as a ballistics expert with the Illinois State Police prior to joining Warner Norcross.  At the Firm, she regularly handles catastrophic, fatality and harassment investigations, working closely with government and regulatory agencies on behalf of her clients.

VanderWerff also develops training materials and provides training sessions to managers and supervisors on harassment, drug and alcohol awareness and health and safety issues.  She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.

VanderWerff received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University with honors and her doctor of jurisprudence from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, where she was Order of the Coif.
