Warner Norcross Attorney Richard A. Roane Selected for Leadership West Michigan

Richard A. Roane, a partner with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, was selected to participate in Leadership West Michigan.

Roane, who concentrates his practice in family law, is one of 24 regional leaders participating in the four-month leadership program. LWM, which is a collaborative effort between four chambers of commerce in West Michigan, seeks to equip leaders for regional collaboration by increasing the understanding and awareness of regional resources, issues and opportunities.

This fall, Roane and other LWM participants will focus on public governance, land use, education, economic development, healthcare, human services and related regional issues.

Roane has been recognized for his family law work by many professional organizations, including Best Lawyers in America and Michigan Super Lawyers, which also named him to its Top 100 list this year. Chair of the law firm's Family Law Practice Group, he frequently lectures on family law issues, including divorce, child custody and support and related issues.
