Warner Appoints New Chair to Recruiting Committee

The law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP has appointed Brian J. Masternak to chair the Recruiting Committee.

Masternak, a partner who concentrates his practice in civil litigation, will chair the nine-member committee. The Recruiting Committee conducts on-campus interviews at law schools nationwide in search of the best law students for summer associate positions. Successful summer associates often receive offers to join Warner Norcross full time after graduation.

For the 2010-11 recruiting season, Warner Norcross received more than 2,000 applications and hired 11 summer associates. With more than 220 attorneys, the law firm is the largest headquartered in West Michigan and one of the largest in the state.

Masternak has served on the Recruiting Committee for 13 years. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Bar Association.
