Warner Adds Four New Partners, Strengthening Its Litigation Team

 Warner Norcross & Judd LLP has elected four litigators into the partnership.

The new partners are:

  • Charles N. Ash, Jr. concentrates his practice in complex business contract and tort litigation. He was named a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers in 2009 and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Wolverine Bar Association. He holds an undergraduate degree from Calvin College cum laude and a doctor of jurisprudence from Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif.

  • Homayune A. Ghaussi concentrates his practice in civil litigation, with an emphasis on property disputes, employment matters, environmental issues, trade secrets and other areas of complex commercial litigation. He was named a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers in 2009 and is a graduate of Leadership Oakland. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Oakland County Bar Association. Ghaussi, who speaks Persian and Farsi, holds an undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and a doctor of jurisprudence from the Wayne State University Law School magna cum laude, where he was Order of the Coif.

  • Sarah C. Lindsey concentrates her practice in litigation with a focus on complex commercial and environmental litigation and appeals. She is a member of the American Bar Association and State Bar of Michigan. She holds an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University with honors and a doctor of jurisprudence summa cum laude from American University in Washington, D.C.

  • Matthew T. Nelson concentrates his practice in litigation with an emphasis on commercial and employment disputes. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association, as well as the Defense Research Institute and the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. He holds an undergraduate degree from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, and a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Notre Dame Law School magna cum laude.

In addition to strengthening the litigation team, the four attorneys comprise the most diverse class of partners since the firm was founded 78 years ago.
