Two Warner Norcross Attorneys Recognized as Top Grand Rapids Lawyers by Best Lawyers in America

Two Warner Norcross & Judd LLP attorneys have been recognized as the top lawyers in their practice areas by The Best Lawyers in America®.

Gordon R. Lewis was honored as "Grand Rapids Best Lawyers Banking Lawyer of the Year" and Charles E. McCallum was recognized as "Grand Rapids Best Lawyers Corporate Lawyer of the Year." This is the first year that the publication, which provides peer reviews of attorneys, has designated top attorneys in high-profile legal specialties in large legal communities. Lewis and McCallum were two of six attorneys honored in Grand Rapids.

"We continue to believe – as we have believed for more than 25 years – that recognition by one's peers is the most meaningful form of praise in the legal profession," said Steven Naifeh, managing editor of Best Lawyers. "We would like to congratulate Gordon Lewis and Charles on being selected as the 'Grand Rapids Best Lawyers of the Year' for 2009 in their practice areas."

Best Lawyers, which is the oldest lawyer-rating publication in the country, compiles its list of outstanding attorneys through peer-review surveys that poll thousands of lawyers across the country. The annual publication, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, now lists more than 36,000 attorneys in 78 specialty areas. McCallum has been listed in every edition of the publication and will be recognized, along with Warner Norcross attorney Hugh H. Makens, during a special ceremony in Atlanta next month.
