Warner Norcross & Judd LLP has added two experienced health law attorneys to its growing Southfield office.
Alan T. Rogalski, who is also a licensed pharmacist, joins the firm as a partner and Deborah J. Williamson joins as senior counsel. Both concentrate their practices in health law, representing a broad spectrum of health care providers on a wide range of issues, including regulatory compliance; Stark, anti-kickback and fraud and abuse; Recovery Audit Contractor, Medicare and other payor audits and appeals; third-party reimbursement and billing; Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act; professional licensure and staff privilege cases; corporate transactions and contracts; and other areas.
They will continue to serve health clients in Metro Detroit, throughout the state of Michigan and nationally. Prior to joining Warner Norcross, Rogalski and Williamson were shareholders in the Farmington Hills office of Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith, P.C.

In addition to nearly 20 years of legal experience, Rogalski also spent more than 20 years with Henry Ford Health Systems and its Department of Pharmacy, working as a clinical pharmacist and then a pharmacy specialist, where he was responsible for quality assurance and risk prevention.
Active professionally, Rogalski is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, American Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association and a fellow in the American Society of Pharmacy Law. He has been honored by Best Lawyers in America, Michigan Super Lawyers and dBusiness Best Lawyers in Detroit.
Rogalski holds a bachelor of science in pharmacy from Wayne State University and a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Detroit School of Law. He has served on the faculty of the University of Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Wayne State University College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Professions.
Williamson is a frequent speaker and author on various health law topics, including Stark, fraud and abuse, HIPAA and third party payor audits and appeals. She has also served on the faculty of the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, presenting the "Michigan Health Law Update" at its annual Health Law Institute since 2009.
Active professionally, Williamson is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan's Health Care Law Section, having served as a member of the Technology Subcommittee, and currently serving as chair of the Providers Subcommittee. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and American Health Lawyers Association.
Williamson holds a bachelor of arts in political science and English cum laude from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo and a doctor of juris prudence magna cum laude from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University.
