Nine New Associates Join Warner Norcross

Warner Norcross & Judd LLP today welcomed nine new attorneys to the Firm as associates.
For the first time in the Firm's history, women outnumber men in the entering class of associates, representing nearly 78 percent of new attorneys. Additionally, 40 percent of the class are members of racial or ethnic minorities.

"As a law firm, Warner Norcross is strongly committed to diversity," said Douglas E. Wagner, managing partner. "Over the past year, we have increased our efforts to build a workplace that reflects today's diverse national and international community. We are pleased with our recruiting efforts and welcome our most diverse class of new associates to the Firm."

The new associates have all been admitted to the State Bar of Michigan. With the exceptions of Matthew A. Kalasho and Jeena S. Shah, who will practice in the Firm's Metro Detroit Office, they will all practice in Grand Rapids. The new attorneys include:
  • Amanda M. Fielder, who received her doctor of jurisprudence from Michigan State University College of Law.
  • Laura E. Jones, who earned her law degree from Wayne State University Law School.
  • Matthew A. Kalasho, who received his JD from Wayne State University Law School.
  • Melanie A. Krauseneck, who received her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law.
