Nate Steed Elected to Council of Information Technology Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan

Nathan W. Steed, an attorney with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been elected to serve on the governing council of the State Bar of Michigan’s Information Technology Law Section.

Steed, an associate in the firm’s Grand Rapids office, will serve an three-year term on the section, which provides education, information and analysis about issues of concern on legal developments related to information technology.  The section focuses attention on protection of intellectual and other proprietary rights, distribution and use of hardware and software, electronic commerce, the Internet and other related issues.

Steed concentrates his technology and intellectual property law, regularly advising clients with their acquisitions of software, hardware and other technology.  He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association.
