Melissa Collar Elected to Serve on the Board of Inforum

Melissa N. Collar, a partner with Warner Norcross & Judd LLP and one of the founding members of the West Michigan affiliate of Inforum, has been elected to serve on the full board of Inforum.

Collar will serve a two-year term on the board, which is the governing body of one of the largest and most prestigious business forums in the nation. Inforum provides opportunities for businesswomen to connect, to forge alliances, to discuss vital civic and business issues, and to advance as leaders.

The organization, which is based in Detroit, has affiliates in Grand Rapids and Lansing. Collar and another partner at Warner Norcross, along with women from Fifth Third Bank, Spectrum Benefits and Steelcase, spearheaded the drive to organize the Grand Rapids affiliate in 2005. Collar also serves on the advisory board for Inforum-West Michigan and chairs the group’s communications committee.

Collar concentrates her practice in real estate and construction law, serving as chair of the Firm's Condominium Practice Group.
