Kurt M. Brauer Joins Warner Norcross

Kurt M. Brauer has joined Warner Norcross & Judd LLP as a partner.

Brauer concentrates his practice in environmental law and litigation, with an emphasis on environmental compliance and regulatory matters, brownfield and other economic development incentives and complex real estate. He also works with financial institutions and other companies to resolve environmental issues in corporate loan transactions. He will practice in the Firm's Southfield office.

Prior to joining Warner Norcross, Brauer was a partner with Bodman LLP in Detroit. Active professionally, Brauer serves as chair of the Environmental Law Program Committee of the State Bar of Michigan. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, and Oakland County Bar Association. He is a member of the National Brownfield Association and serves as secretary of the board of the Farmington Hills Brownfield Redevelopment Authority.

Brauer holds a bachelor's degree from the Oakland University and a doctor of jurisprudence from Wayne State University cum laude where he was senior articles editor for the Wayne Law Review.

A native of Romeo, Brauer now resides in Farmington Hills with his wife, Deborah, and children, Marisa and Cameron.
