Kevin Wilson Named Director of Client Development for Warner Norcross

Kevin J. Wilson has been named to the newly created post of director of client development for Warner Norcross & Judd LLP.

Wilson brings more than a dozen years of business development, sales and international experience to this new position.  He will be responsible for working with Warner Norcross attorneys to respond to requests for proposals and identify business and economic opportunities in each of the Firm's key markets.

"We are very pleased to welcome Kevin Wilson to the Firm as our first director of client development," said Douglas E. Wagner, managing partner of Warner Norcross.  "Kevin brings a proven track record of business development, nationally as well as internationally, and we believe he will be an invaluable addition to our team."

Prior to joining Warner Norcross, Wilson served as the vice consul of international business development for the United Kingdom’s British consulate in Chicago.  In this role, he identified and assisted more than 50 Midwest companies – including Ford, BestBuy, 3M and Motorola – to develop operations in the United Kingdom.

More recently, he served as brand manager for Grand Rapids-based Gordon Food Services, a full-line food service distributor.  He also served as regional vice president of sales and marketing for RetirementSmarts, a Web-based retirement-planning company headquartered in Grand Rapids.

Wilson has also had international experience in sales with Rothmans International, where he was responsible for product launches and promotional opportunities in both London and West Africa.

Wilson holds a bachelor of arts in international business studies from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, England, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

A native of the United Kingdom, Wilson now resides in Grand Rapids.
