James J. Steffel Named Executive Partner of Warner Norcross Muskegon Office

James J. Steffel, a partner with Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been named executive partner of the Firm’s Muskegon office.

Steffel will lead the efforts of the 13-attorney office, which includes members of the Firm's business, labor, employee benefits, health care, real estate, environmental, trusts and estates, tax and litigation practice groups. In addition to its Muskegon office, Warner Norcross has offices in Grand Rapids and Holland, making it the largest law firm in West Michigan. The Firm also has an office in Metro Detroit.

Steffel concentrates his practice in trusts, estates and closely held entities. He lectures frequently on estate and business-planning topics and is currently president of the Lake Michigan Estate Planning Council, chair of the Mercy General Health Partners Planned Giving Committee, and on the executive committees of Leadership West Michigan and the development board of Mercy General Health Partners.
