How much time off does ADA require?


Warner Norcross Partner Jonathan Kok was quoted in a Michigan Lawyers Weekly article on recent EEOC settlements of cases about the length of time employers must give employees to get back to work under the ADA. Kok noted that even small employers must comply with the ADA, even if they are not required to provide FMLA leave. He said employers should pay particular attention to the end of the leave of absence, explaining that this is an area of intense interest to the EEOC.
